Delete account and data
How to delete your Mudrik (مُدرك) account and the data associated with it.
- App: Mudrik · com.mudrik.app
- Developer: Mudrik dev
- Last updated:
This is an English translation. If it differs from the Arabic version, the Arabic version prevails.
Two ways to delete your account
- Inside the app: the fastest way; deletes your account immediately together with the progress stored on the device.
- By e-mail request: if you cannot use the app, or you also want your purchase record at RevenueCat deleted.
1Delete inside the app
The app is in Arabic; the Arabic labels are shown in brackets.
- Open the Mudrik app and sign in to your account.
- Tap My account («حسابي») in the bottom bar.
- Scroll to Sensitive zone («منطقة حساسة») and tap Delete account («حذف الحساب»).
- Confirm with Delete («حذف»). The app may first ask you to confirm your identity with your password or your Google account.
After you confirm, your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out of the app.
What is deleted
- Your Firebase Authentication account: name, e-mail address, sign-in methods and account identifier.
- On the device you deleted the account from: your learning progress (stars and stages), including progress moved over from an earlier version of the app, and the last subject you opened.
What this method does not delete
- Your purchase record at RevenueCat: it remains linked only to a random identifier that contains neither your name nor your e-mail address. If you want it deleted too, use the e-mail request before deleting the account in the app — once the account is deleted we can no longer link that identifier to your e-mail address.
- Order and payment records at Google Play: Google keeps them under its own policies and legal obligations.
- Progress on other devices: progress is stored separately on each device; remove it from other devices by uninstalling the app or clearing its data.
Deleting your account does not cancel purchases and does not mean a refund. Refund requests are subject to Google Play’s policies.
2Request deletion by e-mail
Use this method if you cannot sign in to the app or it is no longer installed, or if you want your account deleted together with your purchase record at RevenueCat.
- Send a message to [email protected] from the e-mail address registered on your account, with the subject “Mudrik account deletion request”. The button below prepares the message for you.
- Include the registered e-mail address, the sign-in method (e-mail and password, or Google account), and that you request deletion of the account and all associated data.
- To make sure the request comes from the account owner, we may ask you to confirm it by replying from the same address. We will never ask for your password.
- We process the request manually within 30 days of verification and send you a confirmation when it is complete.
Send a deletion request by e-mail
If the button does not open your e-mail app, send the message manually to [email protected].
What is deleted
- Your Firebase Authentication account: name, e-mail address, sign-in methods and account identifier.
- Your purchase record at RevenueCat linked to your account identifier.
Learning progress is stored only on your device and never reaches us, so we cannot delete it remotely. Remove it by uninstalling the app, or via Settings → Apps → Mudrik (مُدرك) → Storage → Clear data (labels vary by device).
What may remain
- Order and payment records at Google Play, which Google keeps under its own policies and legal obligations.
- Your messages about the request, kept only as long as needed to document that it was completed.
